Tips to find the right food for your pet

Nutrition is the biggest driving factor in everybody’s health and chemical make-up.  So what Is the best way to feed your pet?  Is it wet food, dry food, raw food?  And what about supplements?  While there are pluses and minuses to all these options, the truth is, every pet is different.  Different in species, weight, exercise, location, exposure, living conditions, etc.  Because there are so many variables, it is best to discuss these options with your veterinarian, ideally, before you actually bring home your pet for the first time.  And once you have started on a plan, you may need to alter it to fit a new environment or just because of the aging process.  You should confirm you are feeding your pet the proper diet every six – twelve months during your pet’s wellness exam.
