Have a 2 week old puppy that I been bottle feeding.And was constipated,tried an enema, a few drops of milk and a little bit of petromalt to try and help the puppy out to no avail. Been trying to keep fluids in her system. She doesnt throw up and she has had a couple bowel movements.But not very much comes out. Have her laying on a warm heating pad.
The mother laid on her when she wasnt quite a week old and I thought she was dead.She wasnt moving at all,so I blew alittle in her nose to revive her.
I have her isolated from the other puppies and keep all their bedding clean.In case the puppy has parvo.But she isnt really showing much signs of parvo(not throwing up,no blood in the stool when she does go,and she eats very little but keeps it down) Any help or suggestions on what to do.My vet is closed today and it’s a very far drive to the nearest available vet office.
