Dog Training is an essential part of puppy parenthood. Bad behavior in dogs accounts for nearly 85% of dogs abandonded at shelters.
Dog training is also more than just walking on a leash or learning how to sit. It involves learning how a dog thinks and behaves in a pack. Your house is his new den and they are looking for the leader or the alpha male in the den. By learning how you, as the dog owner and now the den leader, should behave will immensely help with relationships among everyone in the pup's new pack. A lot of bad behavior in dogs is caused by the dog assuming the position of the alpha leader when the human is clueless on how to assume the role.
