Following all of my directions about feeding, exercising, grooming, etc. All “guests” must be up-to-date on all shots, neutered/spayed, and not show signs of aggression. I guess my price range for a full day would be around $35-$45 (depends on the location; I’d pay more for a closer location) with some savings if I choose to book a few more days.

A lot of it depends on where you live. I am a fully licensed and insured pet sitter.

I pick up the dogs that come and stay with me for the day by 8 am and we go for our 1st walk of the day in the woods. We are out for about and hour or so and we play fetch and go swimming (well, the dogs do) I never have a group larger than 6 dogs (thats with my two included in the group).

We then go back to mine where those who still get fed more than once a day get fed and others get a few treats . They all usually then go to sleep while I get on with my day around the house. They have the run of the house downstairs as well as use of the garden when they please. There are plenty of dog toys for them as well.

After their nap, at about lunch time we go for another one hour’s walk and then back to mine.

Once again, they tend to go to sleep while I make some food for myself and then its time to start dropping them off home or waiting for their owners to come and collect them depending on the arrangement and time.

My last dog leaves at about 6/7 depending on the day. I live in London and charge between £20 and £25 per day per dog depending on the dog’s size, needs and how often they come. Those who are looked after by me Mon to Fri get 10% off…

The dogs love coming over and I love having them. I treat them as my own and cuddle and play with them whenever they want. I am also forever chasing them with a camera so their mummy’s and daddy’s can see what they have been up to!

    hope that helps.

I take one of my big dogs to doggie daycare three times a week, I drop him off around 8am and pick him up at 5.30 to 6pm. I pay $10 a day, they do usually charge a little more but if you commit to 3 times a week for a long time, they drop it to just $10.

They have a huge fenced yard and all the dogs play together, outside come rain or shine. Most of the dogs know each other now and there are no problems. When a new dog comes they do supervise it going in and stay with it for a while to make sure it’s ok.

I chose the place I go to as they are so wonderful with the dogs and really care about them. They also do grooming, and overnight care or long term care.

My dog absolutely loves going, there and is totally exhausted at the end of the day.

They don’t do naps for dogs, which I like, after all they are not children!

Hope you find one you are happy with!

I’ve never used a doggie day care, so take my answer with a grain of salt, lol. I would expect my precious doggie to have a clean, safe environment, certainly not caged or crated all day, and placed with other dogs about the same size. (I wouldn’t want my chihuahua to be a snack for a great dane…just saying).
I think I would look for the same things I would expect from a human day care/clean, well supervised, plenty of space to play, toys, a clean place to snooze, etc. I would visit first without my furbaby, check it out, see how the other dogs are being treated, then if I found it satisfactory, take my furbaby.
One thing that would be important to me would be to pet/play with other dogs before taking my baby.

LOOK for fleas….Yes….I’m serious. I know all dogs in day care have to have all the shots, but fleas….The last thing I want is my baby getting fleas and bringing them home. Believe me, if ONE dog has fleas, it won’t be long until all the dogs have them. Nasty boogers, those fleas.

Best of luck finding the perfect place your your dog. As far as price? I don’t know, but you could call several places, and find the going rate in your area, then pick the place that suits you and your dog best.

What I look for. Clean, modern set up. A small ratio of dogs to staff. Staff who are enthusiastic about dogs. Staff who are knowledgeable. They must be prepared to feed my dog the food I feed him. All dogs should be up to date with their shots. The staff must be happy to take information from me about my dogs likes and dislikes. Ideally I like some flexibility as well.
