    @savehedda FYI each and every dog that ever lived with us was treated with great respect and love. No dog was ever “dragged” anywhere. They lived in great conditions with lots of opportunities to run around and play (and Pee).

  2. fogn1 says:

    they dont want to play and pee they are sled dogs they want to get out there and pull the shit out of that sled

  3. rasalzir says:

    i sit in a 3 wheeled buggie and get pulled along by a kite, f**k the kite !!! i want huskies !!!! brilliant video !!! loved it and the dogs !!!

  4. TracyGrenier says:

    @savehedda I do think that you should learn what a husky is all about before you start to criticize someone. When I watch this video I see a group of dogs that are soooo excited about pulling that they can’t contain themselves. I can also see that they continuously have smiles on their faces. I really can’t wait to start training my puppy!

  5. doglover126414 says:

    that is sooooooooo cute:)

  6. Batchagaloop says:

    im getting an alaskan malamute, and i fell in love with dog sledding, how do you start training as a puppy? any tips?

  7. AmazonTraveler says:

    @Batchagaloop @Batchagaloop Make it fun. Hugs, kisses & cookies! Work with experienced racers. Put new dogs with experienced dogs; they will teach the pups. Training = conditioning & learning the basics of team work. Practice makes perfect i.e. positive reinforcement & repetition of good runs. Hydration; they run on water and good food. Dogs experience stress, so pay attention. Some dogs look like good sled dogs but they arent, so dont force it. Have fun!

    how far do you go in the summer?

  10. raemeredith says:

    Great way to wear them out! I go on a run every day with my lab, but she couldn’t pull this off if she tried. Lovely dogs. :)

  11. kesterratcliff1 says:

    incontrivertible evidence to anyone with eyes that sledding with huskies is what they love doing best -they’re sooo excited -and they’ve done this lots of times before so if they didn’t love it they wouldn’t be looking so excited, durr!

  12. Paintedclaw7 says:

    I LOVE sled-dogs, and racing. Its my lifelong dream to race in the iditorod. When I had my dog, Jazzie, I taught her to pull me in a wagon, she also knew a bit of Agility. YEA FOR SLED-DOGS!!!!!!

  13. AstronomyGuru1 says:

    Thats awesome, and you can tell the dogs really love this.

  14. Velasca says:

    They couldn’t be doing this with gammy tickers

  15. valalupe1 says:

    @savehedda

    Oh good gawd, they did not drag them out. They simply secured the dog so attaching the clip wouldn’t be more difficult with such a eager dog. This is well kept equipment and so are their dogs. Gorgeous coats and such. Not like they are lining them up to shot them. Least they are not just backyard ordainments for people to say that have a dog. This is respect, respecting that a working breed has a background and they are allowing them the chance to follow it. In a fun way.

    @savehedda
