dogs are classified as omnivores. They can survive on a diet of either plant or animal origin if it is balanced and diverse. Having a nice vegan snack like this is a perfect complement to a diet full of animal protein.

omg! this is hilarious….it reminds me of seven pounds when the woman wouldn’t let her dog eat any meat. lol. anyway yeah…im vegetarian, but im not going as far as to make my pets vegetarian (sorry) though i support the idea. I went to the website vegetarianimage and bought pendants that i put on my cats collar though

There’s nothing wrong with giving a dog vegetarian treats, even if you don’t believe that dogs should be fed a vegetarian diet. The less meat produced, the better.

no, dogs AREN`T ominivores. they can eat some plants, but this should not be the base of their diet. the same with cats. my previous cat liked green pease, but he usually had enough after few seeds.
